Frequently asked questions
Which tax forms are filed each month?
PND.1 (employee withholding), PND.3 (individual withholding), PND.53 (corporate withholding), PP.30 (VAT), and monthly social security contributions — filed by the 7th and 15th of the following month.
Can I file taxes myself — why use a firm?
You can, but missing deadlines or miscalculating triggers significant surcharges and penalties. Using a firm reduces risk, saves time, and gives you an on-call advisor for complex tax issues.
What are the penalties for late tax filing?
Late-filing fines start at THB 200–2,000 per return, plus a 1.5% monthly surcharge and penalty amounts of up to 1–2× the tax due, depending on the form and delay.
Does a loss-making business still pay tax?
Companies operating at a loss pay no corporate income tax for that year, but must still file PND.50 and PND.51. Losses can be carried forward for up to 5 years to offset future profits.
How can we plan to reduce tax legally?
Options include double-deductible expenses (BOI, R&D, senior employees), choosing the right corporate structure, and optimal depreciation methods. We assess case by case to fit your business.
